Historical evidence for Christ is overwhelming
Within 60-80 years of Christ’s death and resurrection, Christianity was such a strong movement that two major Roman historians (Josephus and Tacitus) noted its rapid growth and that its inspiration came from a man name Christ who was crucified by Pontius Pilate in Jerusalem.

The only way the church grows this fast when Christ had only had a 3 year ministry is if Christ really did do all the miracles recorded in the Gospels and hundreds, if not thousands, of people had seen the risen Christ in the 40 days after the resurrection and had been talking about it with others in the 7 days between the Ascension and the day of Pentecost.
The only way Peter’s sermon on Pentecost results in 3,000 new Christians is because so many people had seen the risen Christ. The work and miracles of the Holy Spirit during the early church period further supported the rapid growth of the church.
In addition – all the apostles were either killed or exiled for giving testimony to the resurrection of Christ. Nobody dies for a lie like that.
